Wow How Time Flies!!
Here it is April and I am finally back! My "baby" is 13 now!! I cannot believe it!! He is such an inspiration to me--he is fun, interesting, smart, and everything a mother could dream about having in her child!!! He had two lovely birthday parties and was overly spoiled as he entered into the teenage years by gifts of money and lots of things too. It was interesting to watch him opening his presents because he'd check every envelope to see if he missed anything in it--like money? This birthday he was obviously more aware of everything and acted like such a gentleman to his guests yet he is still obviously a child as well. He particularly likes playing with his cousins and friends even though some adults tried to play too. Now he is in Track & Field doing the hurdles and the 100 meter dash. He is excellent at all the hurdles that have been in his life thus far so I can see him doing the "real" hurdles beautifully!!! I am one very proud mother and am so blessed to have my wonderful Patrick!!

Happy New Year!!
Well it is 2009 now!! SO hard to believe!! My baby will be 13 in 36 days which has got me trippin' some. I watched his baby video yesterday and he looks nothing like he used to...of course who does look exactly the same as they did 13 years ago?? Okay, well, alot of people do just not when they are babies to a teenager. He is so smart and intense! He remembers things I forget and puts me on the spot about it! He keeps me busy with all of his thoughts and needs and I am so glad I can be here for him so much. Time with him can never be replaced so here's to 2009 and a lovely year with my awesome, amazing son!! Happy New Year everyone!!! And one more thing, God Bless America and all of the wonderful people here!!! Give our new President Elect Obama strength and blessings he needs to help our country to become more stable and safe again....

The Holidays
The holidays are upon us and what do I see?? The sweet radiant eyes of my 12 year old son looking at me! He is childlike yet so grown! He is looking so forward to Christmas this year! All he wanted was books and more books. He is so innocent yet silly too! Time is going so fast it is a little scary too. He will be 13 in February and then I will have to face the truth that I no longer have a baby I have a little man! I am thrilled to see him growing so much-3 inches in the last three months!! And he had his first junior high school dance and (oh boy!) he danced with 3 girls! He was so happy, I am nervous. I hope he is treated well by whomever he chooses to spend time with-friends or girlfriends. My little boy makes me so proud, he is awesome in every way. He has straight A's and was on the cross country team this year. What a person he is-I am so lucky to be his mother. And I am looking forward to the Holidays with my wonderful child and husband!
